We understand visiting a new church for the first time can leave you a bit apprehensive. Our hope is this page will make it a little easier for you to walk through our door.

New Direction Ministries is a church located at 12 Avalon Circle, Saint Albans, WV 

 

Vision:

At New Direction Ministries, our vision is to Love the people, as God has loved us. Matthew 22:39 “Thou shalt love the neighbor as thyself and in John 15:12 “That ye love one another as I have loved you” 

 

Mission:

Our Mission is to reach a lost and hurting world to help them turn their life in a new direction with Jesus! Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us; Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

 

What to expect. 

We are a Non-Denominational church who welcomes everyone, from every walk of life.

We are a group of imperfect people, worshiping a perfect God as well as trying to share the gospel message of the perfect love of Jesus. 

We believe you will find our worship service to be joyous and God centered. We open with prayer and sing a blended style of music. Ranging from hymns, southern gospel, and contemporary worship songs. We worship without pretense and we invite you to worship the same with us. 

 

What to wear?

We at New Direction Ministries say, come as you are! 

 

Offering:

As a visitor, we want you to feel no obligation to give anything toward our offering. We do not pass an offering plate or bucket. Our motto is we do not take an offering we give one. In 2 Corinthians 9:7 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

We do have offering boxes by each exit for those who choose to give.
